I Resolve to…

Are you one of the 100 million Americans who will make resolutions over the next several weeks?  The top four goals for Americans are

  1. Save Money

  2. Lose Weight
  3. Make Healthy Choices
  4. Stop Smoking

Are all of those on your list? Then we've got a four-in-one deal for you: Hop on your bike!   A bike ride can save on gas, burn calories, improve cardiovascular strength and make you happy.   And studies show that those who incorporate exercise into their stop-smoking plans are the ones more likely to succeed.

So what are you waiting for?  Start out right on January 1st with a steady-paced (12-14 mph) ride through Interlaken, South Lake Union, Myrtle Edwards Park, Discovery Park and the Fisherman's Terminal.  This 20-ish-mile ride will start at Gas Works Park at 10:00 a.m.  Your leaders, Les Weppler and Travis Coleman, will keep the group together and encourage you up the hills and help meet your goals.

But the help doesn’t end there.  Cascade offers lots of resources to help you stick to those resolutions.

- We offer over 15,000 free daily rides to get you out riding with friends every day of the year! Everyone is welcome.
- Unsure about riding in city traffic?  Join us for the Urban Cycling Techniques class!
