Is it possible you’ve never heard of S.P.O.K.E.S?

Are you hoping to go on your first group ride? Go with S.P.O.K.E.S.!

Are you a seasoned, hard-core rider but after a hard week just need a laid back ride with some very cool people? That's right, go with S.P.O.K.E.S.

S.P.O.K.E.S – Sunday Pedalers on Kinda Easy Streets – usually hit the road the last Sunday of the month for 15 to 25 miles at a leisurely pace.  All rides have a knowledgeable leader to guide you on an interesting route, and a helpful sweep who will be sure you don’t get lost from the group and will offer assistance should you have a mechanical problem.

On Saturday, Oct. 27,  S.P.O.K.E.S. will get you in the Halloween spirit as they visits spirits at a variety of cemeteries in Bothell, Kirkland and Woodinville neighborhoods.  No worries if that puts a chill in your bones. You can shake it off at the coffee stop later in the ride.

Michelle Burton ((425)890-4936) and Jim Hunt ((425)681-4640) will meet you at Sammamish River Park in Bothell for this 10 a.m. ride.  More info and directions available here, so there’s no excuse to not show up. Unless the spooks don’t keep you away…BWAHAHAHA!

Looking for more riding opportunities? All Cascade free daily rides are published online. Everyone is welcome, but if you’re new, please read through our information for newcomers and parents.

Happy Halloween
