Seattle's first cargo bike event coming up this weekend

Forget car-seats! Cargo Bikes are the hot item for parents transporting their kids around town these days, and Seattle’s first Cargo Bike Roll Call is the event for you mingle with fellow cargo bike owners or to see what you’re missing.

This cargo bike carries more people than a "smart" car!

Hosted by Family Ride blogger, Madeleine Carlson, the Cargo Bike Roll Call is an opportunity to test cool bikes, grow community and enjoy an afternoon at the park. There will bikes, music, food, beverages, fun and games.

Seattle’s first Cargo Bike Roll Call is happening this Saturday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gas Works Park, 2101 N Northlake Way.
