The Challenge:

With a route that covers 122 miles and 7,500 feet of climbing, the High Pass Challenge isn't for the average recreational rider.

Beginning and ending in Packwood, Wash, the loop is a strenuous and beautiful mountain ride that climbs over Independence Pass, winds past scenic Spirit Lake, and peaks at Windy Ridge Viewpoint in the Mt. St. Helens National Monument area.

Registration is capped at 600 riders and all riders have to complete the ride within the 10-hour ride limit.

Go for the Gold!
In addition to bragging rights, finishers will receive a gold, silver or bronze ribbon based on their finish. The time to beat is 5 hours and 29 minutes, which was the time of the fastest rider in 2011.
