Seattle Dept. of Transportation has asked the contractor working on the Ship Canal Trail to make some final adjustments to the new extension of the Ship Canal Trail. The work will require closing the part of the trail that is between 6th Avenue West and 11th Avenue West, from today, Monday, May 10 to Friday, May 14.
The contractor will extend the fence and fix damaged concrete in the newly constructed section of the trail.
Trail users are asked to obey the signs and stay off this portion of the trail until the freshly poured concrete is cured.
