"Shout out to Cascade Bicycle Club for providing free bike valet service!"

That was one of the many compliments we received following Monday's FIFA World Cup match won by Belgium.

If you plan to bike to the Friday (June 19) noontime match featuring the United States versus Australia, we will again be located west of Lumen Field on 1st Avenue South and South Dearborn Street, indicated by the red oval around the bicycle icon on the map below.

Stoked on Cycling to Soccer

The two guys in the photo atop this post sum up the excitement of people who used our bike valet near Lumen Field (rebranded as Seattle Stadium for the World Cup). We packed the secure bike corral with about 200 bicycles, e-bikes, and even personal electric scooters.

Cascade is also providing free bike valet service at Sound Transit’s Rainier Beach Station and Redmond’s Downtown Redmond Station. If you live in Bellevue or Redmond we recommend biking to Downtown Redmond station and parking your bike there, then taking the light rail to Seattle.

If you live or will be biking from south Seattle, you can park your bike at Rainer Beach Station and take the train to the stadium. Cascade is offering secure bike parking at the two light rail stations so people can avoid schlepping their bikes onto crowded trains. Note that Sound Transit is prohibiting all bikes aside from folding bikes on trains on match days.

Game Day Bike Valet Details
