TREATS: Mercer Island, Bellevue, and Newport Hills (Steady)
Registration Now Open
... of 15 spots remaining
We're off to tour around Newport Hills, Bellevue, and Mercer Island, with enough hills to stay warm! We'll meet at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. Be there, ready to ride at 10 am. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We'll head off the island, then north through Bellevue to the top of Clyde Hill. From there, down to the 520 trail and up 112th towards our midway stop at The French Bakery in downtown Bellevue. Afterwards, we'll head south on the Eastrail to Seahawks HQ, then up Lake Washington Blvd to Newport Hills. We'll roll through Newport Hills then down to Coal Creek Parkway and the I 90 trail for our return to the island. A final hill (seriously!) up Mercerwood Drive finishes off our day.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup at the top of hills and major turns if not together.
Restrooms are available at the start, and we'll make a planned lunch stop at The French Bakery (mile 12.8).
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
