TREATS: Lake Sammamish - Issaquah Coffee (Steady)

Join us for a relaxed, social ride from Sixty Acres Park in Redmond on a 32 mile route at Steady Pace (12-14 mph on the flats)

This route is a combination of trail and road and includes a nice little section through the recently opened transit center on the Microsoft campus. 

Let's meet at the South Parking lot and please be ready to ride at 10:00 a.m.  We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. 

Restrooms are available at the start (port-a-pot). We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at the Lake Hills Community Park at around mile 9 and optionally at Marymoor at mile 27.  We will have a combined coffee/snack/rest stop at Issaquah Coffee at mile 16.  If Issaquah Coffee is too crowded, we will go to Safeway/Starbucks at Issaquah Commons.

Please bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
