NERD - North End Rides before Dark (Brisk)

Let's meet at the Edmonds Park & Ride. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

🗺️ Route Notes: This week we will be riding the route, Edmonds Adventure. This route is relatively short and not too much elevation gain and we should be back right at sunset. Many of the roads we will be riding have traffic so it is important to ride single file and use proper hand signals and alert fellow riders to hazards.  We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will stay together & regroup frequently.

🚻 Restrooms are NOT available at the start. If you need, there is North Lynnwood Park at 4529 185th Pl SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037, or you may consider doing business at a local establishment and use their restroom. There are no planned stops on this ride.

🔦 Lights: Since our ride could finish after sunset or if you have a mechanical,  a working white headlight and red rear tail light (steady mode preferred unless you are sweeping) are REQUIRED to participate.

🛠️ Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. PLEASE have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you WILL be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

🌧️ Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
