... of 20 spots remaining
Monday Outdoor Riding in the Evening is winding down for the 2025 bike season. This is the last ride before the finale on 9/29. It has been a treat riding with you this year and hope that you are able to finish it out with us!
Let's meet at Lower Woodland Park between the ballfields and near the porta-potties and rest room building (Green Lake Way N and 52nd St). Be there, ready to go at 5:50 pm. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate. We also recommend a white headlight and red tail light because of the diminishing daylight.
This week we are riding some very familiar routes, think Interurban and Ravenna Blvd. But also some streets which are not as well traveled such as 5th Ave NE and NE 115th St. It is a nice North Seattle ride with a mix of trails and streets. And as always our goal is to have fun, get some training in and be social. Did I mention have fun?
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup as needed.
Porta-potties are available at the start.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
Hope to ride with you soon!
