FRIDAY RIDERS: Cocoa Ride to Hoffman's in Redmond **LATE START at 11 AM** (Steady)

**Late Start at 11AM** Join me for a loop ride from Wayne Park Bothell on a 19.6 mile route at steady pace of 12-14 MPH! 

This scenic and fun exercise route combines roads and trails to Hoffman's Fine Pastries in Redmond for a cocoa or coffee break. A 1.5-mile segment of the Eastrail is compact dirt and easy to cycle on. 

Plan on socializing for 30 minutes at Hoffman's and bring cash or credit card to purchase food/drink. A cable lock will come in handy to secure your bike at the coffee shop. We will return on the scenic Sammamish River Trail.

Let's meet at Wayne Park in Bothell and please be ready to ride at 11:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.The route is flat and the group stays together.

A restroom (portable toilet) is available at the start near the parking lot. We will stop for restrooms/coffee/snacks at Hoffman's at mile 9.2.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Please bring a full water bottle and some snacks for energy.  Helmets are required! 

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
