Join us for a ride from Wayne Park Bothell Park on a 25.6 mile route at steady pace of 12-14 MPH!
Get on your bike and join me for a loop ride from Bothell that skirts the Bridle Trails State Park and heads into Redmond for a coffee break and social. Return on the scenic Sammamish River Trail, Redmond Central Connector and Eastrail. There are some hills so come prepared with lower hill climbing gears and a bike in good working order.
Let's meet at the Wayne Park Bothell and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
A portable toilet is available at the ride start near the parking lot. Parking is free. We will stop along the way for coffee and a social at mile 15.5.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have a full water bottle and carry with you. Helmets are required!
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride at least two hours prior to the start and you will be sent an notification email. Ride Leader(s) will not appear at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
