... of 15 spots remaining
Note: if the weather gets too warm I will change the start time to 9am. You will be notified by email.
Let's meet at the Log Boom Park, between the restrooms and the parking lot. Please part on the street outside the park due to limited-time parking in the park. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
This is adapted from CHEW 3 (Climbing Hills Everywhere in Winter) so yes, it's hill training, but from the beginning of the series, so it should be do-able for midsummer riders . We'll head ,to Kirkland via Juanita, to Bellevue and back by Bridle Trails park, then over to Redmond, and over Hollywood Hill on the way back.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup frequently. The ride leader is not a fast climber!
Restrooms available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water Kirkland Marina park, mile 10. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Victor's Celtic Coffee at mile 25.
We hope you can join us!
