FRIDAY RIDERS: Loop Ride to Redmond Town Center for Coffee (Leisurely)

Join me for a loop ride from Wayne Park Bothell on a 20.5 mile route at leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH! 

This scenic and fun exercise route combines roads and trails to the Redmond Town Center for a coffee break. One of the trails (Eastrail) is compact dirt suitable for all tires. 

Plan on socializing for 30 minutes at a coffee shop and bring cash or credit card to purchase food/drink. A cable lock will come in handy to secure your bike at the mall. We will return on the scenic Sammamish River Trail. 

Let's meet at Wayne Park in Bothell and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

The route is flat and the group stays together.

A restroom (portable toilet) is available at the start near the parking lot. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water in 1/4 mile at Blyth Park. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at mile 10.6.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Please bring a full water bottle and some snacks for energy.  Helmets are required! 

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride. Weather conditions above 80° will cancel the ride.
