**CANCELLED** FRIDAY RIDERS - Visit the Issaquah Troll (Leisurely)

Join us as we leave from Redmond on a 28-mile ride around Lake Sammamish at a leisurely pace, (10 - 12 mph on the flats).

This counterclockwise trip around Lake Sammamish is a mixture of roads and trails.  We will take a detour south in Issaquah to visit Jakob Two Trees, the Issaquah troll. 

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trail Park. In the past, some people have had problems navigating to the ride start. If you are in the Whole Foods parking lot, you are close - the East Lake Sammamish Trail Park parking lot is on the other side of the fence from Whole Foods.

Please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. 

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms at mile 10. We’ll also stop at the troll and also for coffee/snacks at Issaquah PCC at mile 17.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there is ice or there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
