TREATS: Juanita Beach to Beaux Arts (Steady)
Ride Contact
... of 10 spots remaining
Join us for a relaxed, social ride starting in Juanita. This is a scenic but somewhat hilly route that wanders south through Kirkland, Redmond and Bellevue, turning back north at Beaux Arts Village.
Water and restrooms are available at the start and we’ll stop at Grass Lawn Park (mile 8) for a restroom break. Coffee/lunch will be at Belle Pastry at approximately mile 20. An optional restroom break will be available at mile 26.
Let’s meet at Juanita Beach Park. Please be fully prepared to start riding no later than 10:00 a.m. Prior to that we’ll have the required safety briefing. If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group.
There are hills, but we will climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a Steady pace and will stay together.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are phone, ID, cash and/or credit card, water and a small snack.
Please have full fenders with mudflaps if the roads are wet, or you are asked to ride at rear of the group. If there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride, and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
