Free Group Ride
Lunch in Port Orchard (Steady)
Ride Contact
... of 20 spots remaining
We'll catch the ferry to Southworth and ride to Port Orchard with a side trip to Manchester State Park. This is a beautiful ride, mostly along the water and mostly flat with just a few hills. We'll have lunch at the farmers market in Port Orchard. Return by the same route minus the side trip. Bring money for the ferry and for lunch. And bring some camel chow. (Ride Leader will explain if you are not familiar with the exotic wildlife of South Kitsap!)
Ride start: Ride through the ferry tollbooth and go directly to the ticket office. Please arrive on time in order to hear the safety briefing. If you're on the Kitsap side and want to ride with us to Port Orchard, meet us at the little store just up the road from the Southworth ferry and we'll do a second briefing. Text me so I can look for you. You must be present at the briefing to ride with the group. Water and restrooms are available at the start. Be prepared if you have a mechanical problem e.g. flat tire.
Parking: I recommend parking in the UPPER parking lot at Lincoln Park and riding down the hill to the ferry. The lower Lincoln Park lot has a time limit.
Weather cancelation: - Showers, snow, icy conditions or more severe weather will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
If you have questions, please contact the Ride Leader.
