Green River & Frager Road from Tukwila (Steady)

... of 10 spots remaining
Join us for a relaxed, scenic loop showcasing some of the Green River Valley’s quietest and most beautiful stretches. We’ll roll south on the Green River Trail, following the river through long corridors of cottonwoods, open fields, and easy, flowing pavement. Expect herons, soft river light, and that peaceful “away from everything” feel even though we’re close to town.
Mid‑ride, we slip onto Frager Road, a low‑traffic gem where the valley opens up. Farms, old barns, and wide river views make this section feel almost rural. It’s calm, smooth, and perfect for steady social riding.
Total distance is a bit over 20 miles — scenic, mellow, and ideal for riders who enjoy nature, conversation, and a beautiful stretch of the Green River.
Our journey today begins at the Tukwila Sounder Station. Please be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with an all-important safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We will climb and descend the one and only hill at our own pace, otherwise we will stay together throughout the ride. Restrooms are not available at the start. We'll stop for restrooms/water at Van Doren's Landing (mile 6) and for coffee at Starbucks in Kent (mile 10).
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack.
Note: If rain seems likely, or in the case of unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, I will cancel the ride and all registered riders will receive a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, I won't be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
