Let's meet at the Bear Creek Park and Ride. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Spring is here! Soon it will be summer. Time to start getting those training miles in for your Big Ride. Join me on the journey! This route offers some challenging climbs, fun descents, and rolling country roads.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will re-group frequently, generally at the top of the climbs. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).
Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop at Perrigo Park for a quick bathroom and water stop, <2 miles from the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 18, 38, 65, and 77.5, as needed. We’ll also have a stop for rest, food, water, and bathrooms, at miles 38 and 65.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.

Event Announcements
I have slightly altered the route to descend off of the Sammamish Plateau on Inglewood Rd, to avoid a possible closure on East Lake Sammamish Parkway. Please update your version.
It has been brought to my attention that the CTS Red and Yellow paces are departing from the Bear Creek Park and Ride at 9:00 AM as well. To avoid confusion, lets try to assemble at the south end of the lot. I will be in my little White SMART car. We will want to roll promptly, as they are using Perigo Park as quick stop for water and bathrooms too. Our next bathroom stop is at MP 18.2. Please plan accordingly and be on time.
See you tomorrow!
