... of 10 spots remaining
Join us for a relaxed, social ride starting at Juanita Beach Park. This is a scenic but hilly route that crosses both the 520 and I-90 bridges and wanders along the shores of Lake Washington for most of the ride.
We’ll stop at Kirkland Waterfront Park restrooms at Mile 2.5. Lunch/coffee will be at Macrina Bakery & Café on Mercer Island at Mile 18.3, and we’ll have another restroom stop at Mile 24 at Bellevue Downtown Park.
Let’s meet at Juanita Beach Park. Please arrive early enough that you will be ready to start riding no later than 10:00 a.m. Prior to that we’ll have the required safety briefing. If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group.
There are hills, but we will climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a Steady pace and will stay together.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are phone, ID, cash and/or credit card, water and a small snack.
Please have full fenders with mudflaps if the roads are wet, or you are asked to ride at rear of the group. If there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride, and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
