... of 10 spots remaining
Join us for a relaxed, social ride from Redmond. This is a winding, 30-mile, Steady paced (12-14mph) route through Redmond, Bellevue, and Beaux Arts Village, returning through the west Microsoft campus and Idylwood neighborhood.
We’ll pass through Meydenbauer Beach Park for a restroom stop at Mile 12. Lunch/coffee will be at Dilettante Mocha Café at mile 17.
Let’s meet at 60 Acres Park in Redmond (furthest SE parking lot).
Please fully prepared to roll out no later than 10:00 a.m. We’ll start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group.
There are hills, but we climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a Steady pace and will stay together.
You can expect some sidewalk riding to avoid problematic traffic areas. Bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own, as the ride becomes self-led for those ahead of or behind the group.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack.
Please have full fenders with mudflaps if the roads are wet, or you are asked to ride at the rear of the group. The Sweep will not ride behind you, hence you may be separated from the group at your own risk.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
