Please note, this is a Women and Non-binary ride only. W&NB rides are only for individuals that identify as a woman or non-binary, including transgender women and cisgender women. Male identifying riders can support this group best by finding other appropriate rides on the Free Group Rides calendar and leaving this space for W&NB riders.
Join us for a ride from Cascade Bicycle Club on an approximately 15 mile ride at a Leisurely pace of 10-12 mph.
Upon return will can join other Non-WNB riders for the Hot Cocoa Social at the club which starts at 12:00 noon! We encourage all of you to stay to chat with us, we would love to hear about how your summer riding went or what events are being planned for 2026!
Let's meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club HQ, please be ready to ride at 10:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. The ride will meander to the park's south side, then will connect up to the Burke Gilman Trail and head north. The return route will retrace the route going out. There is only one small hill on this route.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. Restrooms and water will be available at the start.
If a rider has a mechanical issue, the group will stop to assist the rider. If there is a major mechanical issue preventing a roadside fix, the Ride Leader will try to ensure the rider has a safe means to return to the start.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: if we have showers or a forecast of significant showers, or temperatures under 40 degrees, we will mostly likely cancel the ride or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start.
We hope you can join us!
