... of 15 spots remaining
Let's meet at the Auburn Fred Meyer in the northwest parking lot. Be there, ready to roll at 8:30. Come early if you need to use the bathroom or buy snacks and drinks. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
HOOA! We go deep into to the trees of SE King County on long roads with wide shoulders. We climb hills because they're there. We suffer, because this is what we signed up for.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace. We occasionally regroup. We'll limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).
Restrooms, snacks, and drinks are available at the start. Porta Potty at mile 17. Restroom at mile 31. Ravensdale Store and Restroom at mile 48
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If its pouring down rain, we will cancel the ride. If there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, we will go around them. If the ride is canceled, we will send a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us! HOOA!
