Let's enjoy the last bit of summer, climb some hills, and grab a snack at the French Bakery. We'll meet at the Pavilion at Wilmot Gateway Park. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We will climb some hills through quiet suburban roads, first Hollywood, then Ring Hill. After stopping for coffee and treats at The French Bakery, we will return to Woodinville via Rose Hill through Kirkland.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).
Restrooms and water are available at the start. We’ll stop for coffee/snacks at The French Bakery at mile 18 (restrooms available).
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!

Event Announcements
Looking forward to a great ride tomorrow. There are some community events going on and parking may be a little tight at Wilmot Gateway. In addition to the usual Saturday Farmer's market, Homeward Pet will be having a 5K fun race starting at 10:30. We should be early enough, but if parking is full at the ball fields, feel free to park at the old Molbak's site just up 175th (https://maps.app.goo.gl/gVM7aYFFe6v74RwH8). It is a short 0.5 mile bike ride down 175th from Molbak's to Wilmot Gateway. The event organizers have obtained permission from the property owners for free parking on Saturday.
