Get out of town, for a day!
Let's meet at the Wilkommen Park & Ride in Leavenworth(65mi. 8AM start) or Railroad Park in Cashmere(35mi. 920AM start). Be there, ready to go at the specified time. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate. We will have a second briefing for the short route.
Leavenworth 8AM start 65mi. 3581ft. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51964775
Cashmere 920AM start 35mi. 1571ft. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52471909
I hope you can join me over the river and through the orchards! The longer route leaves Leavenworth at 8AM and the shorter route leaves Cashmere at 920AM. The long route is on Highway 2 for only 1.5 mi. and short route 0.3mi. For the brief highway part we will have a wide shoulder and will be close to 🚦traffic lights and towns that will help calm traffic. We'll send it into Wenatchee and on the protected bike paths along the Colombia River. On the way back we have an optional stop at Anjou Bakery, they make a bussin' berry lemonade.
Then the finish line for the short route and a brief Aplets & Cotlets break for everyone at the factory store in Cashmere. We will then ride directly to Munchen Haus for food🌭 ,drinks🍺,and great bike parking. FYI parking is limited in Leavenworth in the afternoon, so I recommend biking to food before biking to the car.
