Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island to Gene Coulon Park (Steady)

Let us meet us at in the Luther Burbank parking lot and be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a route preview and safety briefing. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate. 

After leaving Luther Burbank we will follow North Mercer Way for 2 miles. We will cross the I-90 bridge and follow the smooth Eastrail bike trail. We will follow the temporary road at the intersection of Seahawks Way and Lake Washington Boulevard North and regroup at the temporary light signal. There is a short ascent in Kennydale (200 yards/3.5%).  We will take a 20 minute break at Coulon Park before we return the same way.  

Restrooms are available at the start and at the nearby Mercer Island Community Center. There are restrooms and water at Coulon Park. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are phone, ID, cash and/or credit card and water. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
