Sunday Sumner Morning Ride (Moderate)

Please join us this Sunday morning, for a fun and relaxing bicycle ride starting in Sumner and riding to Panera at Kent Station. Come join us for some fresh air, good company, and delicious treats and coffee. 🚴‍♂️🌳

Let’s make it a fun and social summer morning bike ride. 🌞

We will meet up in the Fred Meyer parking lot in the town of Sumner. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that is done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

There are bathrooms at the start inside the Fred Meyer building. Our next bathroom break will be at mile 9 in the Auburn Walmart in the Outlet Collection Mall and also at mile 25 at Three Friends Fishing Hole in Kent. Our rest stop will be at mile 29.6 at Panera Bread in Kent.

This will be a moderate paced bike ride. We will stay together and regroup at the top of all hill climbs. This ride is flat except for one little climb.

After enjoying our food/coffee/rest stop we will head back to Sumner. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride, and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is canceled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
