We will gather at the Port Orchard Marina (free parking), where my white Sprinter will await you. Be there, ready to go, at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Join us for a scenic 100K cycling adventure through the South Kitsap Peninsula, where rolling hills and coastal views meet real effort and real joy. You’ll cross the iconic Narrows Bridge—twice, ride past stunning waterfronts, and tackle climbs that leave you breathless in the best way.
It’s not just the miles. It’s about becoming a stronger cyclist. And yes—there’s good, strong coffee along the way. Ride with us.
The picture above captures a triumphant moment—where effort meets elevation on the Narrows Bridge, and the cyclist claims the view as their hard-earned reward.
Lunch Break: After returning from the Narrows, we will stop at the Kimball Coffeehouse (mile 31).
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, regroup frequently, and limit our speeds on multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH), ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for all.
The ride will last about six hours and may be shorter. Restrooms are available at the beginning of the route in a nearby Carter and Co. As needed, restrooms and water breaks are available at: mile 12 in Burley Store; mile 20 and 31 in Kimball Coffeehouse: mile 46 in Ollala Food Center; mile 56 in Pomeroy Park; and mile 63 in Whiskey Gulch Coffee. Coffee may also be purchased at some of these locations.
It's a good idea to bring whatever you want to snack on for this type of ride. Just in case, bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat. Other things to bring are a phone, ID, cash and/or credit card, ORCA card, water, and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the group’s rear.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride, and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is canceled at least two hours before the start, the Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
