Auburn to Kent (Moderate)

Join us for a 20-mile flat ride from Auburn to Van Doren's Landing Park in Kent.

We will meet at the south end of the Walmart parking lot located at the Auburn Outlet Mall.  Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will take the Interurban and Green River Trails to and from Kent, and we will limit our speed on any multi-use trails to the legal maximum (usually 15mph).  At mile 10 we will take a 10-minute break at Van Doren's Landing Park before returning.  The water fountain at the park might be shut off, so please bring water.

Restrooms are available at the start in Walmart and at Van Doren's Landing Park, mile 10. 

Bring ID, equipment and skills to fix flats, a phone, and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, fenders with long mudflaps are strongly recommended.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered by riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
