Ron Regis to Ristrettos Version 4 (Moderate)

Join us for a Morning ride from Ron Regis Park (1501 Orcas Avenue Southeast) To Ristrettos in Black Diamond, a 36-mile route at a Moderate pace (14-16 MPH). The pace of this ride is based on having no wind and being on a flat road. If there is a headwind or a hill, the pace will be lower, if we have a tailwind or downhill, the pace may be higher. Due to the number of similar routes I ride, version numbers are used, and versions of the same ride may have very different elevation profiles.  Keep this in mind when deciding to do this ride.

Let's meet at Ron Regis for our pre-ride safety briefing. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate. This ride takes us through quiet neighborhoods and country roads with just enough climbing.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup as needed. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

There is a Porta-Potty is available at the start, please plan accordingly. We will make our food stop at Ristrettos (mile 19)  

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you will be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
