Seattle Spring Photo Ops Ride (Leisurely)

Let's be ready to ride at 10 AM at Gas Works Park. All participants must be present for safety overview.

Ride heads west along the canal, crosses Fremont Bridge to continue on the south side of the canal. We will head to Queen Anne on 14th Ave W, circle the hill with a stop at Kerry Park before continuing down to the Seattle Center. After a short visit to the South Lake Union Park, we will proceed to Green Lake loop and stop at the Green Lake PCC for coffee. After coffee we continue to U of Washington for view of cherry blossoms before returning to Gas Works Park.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will stay together. We will regroup at top of hills if necessary.

Restrooms are available at the start. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Green Lake PCC at mile 17.8.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
