Let's meet at the parking lot at the end of N. 6th St near the La Conner Schools and by the skate park. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Let's ride a route that was part of the now retired Tulip Pedal annual event where we will see lots of tulips in Skagit County!
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will stay together and regroup as necessary.
Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop in town for restrooms about a mile from our start. Please note that we probably won't have access to other toilets on the route, however Roozengaarde and Tulip Town may have honey buckets since it will be during the Tulip Festival.
Optional: After we finish the ride, we can meet for lunch at Thai Garden on Morris Street in town.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If the weather forecast calls for rain when check the evening of April 18th, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
