Halloween Rolling Costumed Party and Treats (no tricks) Gas Works to Log Boom and Back (Steady)
Event has already happened.
... of 10 spots remaining
Let's celebrate Halloween with a costumed bike ride! Dress up your helmet and/or you and your bike. Low-key or outrageous - you choose. (No eye masks! Make sure none of your costume can get tangled up in your spokes.)
Treats will be handed out at the start. (This is not a trick!)
Let's meet at Gas Works Park parking lot. (4 hour parking limit) Be ready to go at the time listed above with decorated bikes, helmets and/or in costume. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We ride together and regroup if we get separated at intersections. Our steady pace (12-14 mph on flats) will keep us within the speed limit on trails.
Restrooms and water are available at the start and at the 1/2 way point at Log Boom Park. We'll return to Gas Works parking lot to end the ride. After the ride, those who want to join us for coffee/snacks can follow the leader to Sea Wolf Bakery at 3617 Stoneway N, Seattle, WA 98103.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. Wear warm clothing. This time of year it's likely to be cold.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
