Let's meet by the Pergolas in Wilmot Gateway Park at the listed start time. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
This week we will ride up the Sammamish Plateau to the Issaquah Highlands. We will have a short rest stop at mile 9 at Marymoor. We will have a 25 minute combined coffee and rest stop at Starbucks in the Issaquah Highlands at approximately mile 24.5. Please bring suitable funds if you plan to purchase food or drink at our coffee/rest stop. An optional rest stop in Marymoor Park on our return will be available..
We will climb and descend the major hills at our own pace and will regroup at the top as needed. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum.
Please bring a map/cue sheet/navigation device. We will regroup, but if a rider is not able to keep the pace overall, we may ask you to ride the rest of the ride on your own.
Restrooms and water are available at the start and at the rest stops. Please bring any snacks you may want to have during the ride.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
