**CANCELLED** Halloween Costume Kids Ride (Easy)

Let's meet at the South End of the Kent James Park n Ride. Be there, ready to go at 3:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders, ghosts, and monsters must attend the safety briefing to participate.

Mwahahaha! Welcome my dear friends to the Spooky Halloween Costumes ride. Join us on this eerie afternoon as we chase the twilight up the slimy Green River Trail at a chill 10 mph. Present your most creatively terrifying costumes. But beware, make sure costume doesn't get tangled in your wheels, crank, or chain, or you might end up in a creepy crash. Deck your bikes out with bone-chilling vibes and decorations. The sun sets at 6:00 on the pre hallows eve, you so you may consider lights.

We will take our respite at Van Dorens Landing Park...20 minutes ought to do the trick. Then we ride back from whence we came.

Restrooms are not available at the start. So "go" before you come, if you catch my meanin'. Otherwise, you'll have to hold it until the 6th mile of our journey. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case you spring a leak. Bring a helmet that fits and vibes with your costume. Bring water and a small snack. Make sure your brakes work. Bring Gloves to keep your little fingers warm. And bring your parents or your Guardians from this Galaxy , especially if you haven't turned 16 yet.

Note: If the weather gets spooky or if anything unexpected pops up, the ride leader will cancel the ride. We'll send an email to everyone who signed up. If we cancel at least 2 hours before the start, the ride leaders won't be at the starting spot. Make sure to check your email before heading out.
