Kirkland Social: Bridle Trails Bellevue (Steady)

Let's meet at Heritage Park Parking Lot. Be ready to ride at the time listed above. We will start with the required safety briefing and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate. If you plan to join enroute please contact the ride leader in advance to arrange for a safety briefing.

We will ride over Rose Hill to the Bridle Trails neighborhood where we head south to the Spring Street neighborhood through downtown Bellevue continuing on 108^th Ave NE to Enatai Beach for a rest stop at mile 11.6.  Our return route takes us back along the Mercer Slough and north along the Lake Washington bike route where we turn off to 116^th Ave NE and over to a food/snack stop at Snyders Corner/Starbucks at mile 20.3. We will return to the start via the north Kirkland greenways.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace and will regroup when necessary. Riders should be able to sustain a 12-14 mile per hour pace on the flats with a commensurate level of effort on the hills.

Restrooms and water are not available at the start, but we will stop at Marina Bay Park @ mile 0.3. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring are a phone, ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. 

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, the Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
