Event has been cancelled.
... of 20 spots remaining
Join us for a ride from Sixty Acres in Redmond on a 30-mile route at Moderate Pace at 14-16 MPH! Please note that most of this route is on multi-use paths where we will stay below the 15mph speed limit, and we will slow down for trail traffic. We will maintain a 14-16 MPH pace on the flats and ride at our own pace on the hills and descents. Our goal is to stay together as much as possible by waiting for others at the top of hills and stop lights.
Enjoy views of the Sammamish River and Sammamish Lake on a fun ride. The route is a mix of about 16 miles of paved trails and 10 miles of road. We will have options stop to take a brief social break, quick snack, and pictures at about mile 15 at the Sammamish Lake Boat Launch and mile 23 at the Sammamish Landing Park.
We will meet in the parking lot east of the South Sixty Acres Field. The lot is on the south side of NE 116th St., and east of the smaller soccer field (South Sixty Acres). We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Restrooms are available at the start. There are Restrooms along the way at Sammamish Lake Boat Launch mile 15 and Sammamish Landing Park mile 23 if needed.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
