Woodinville to Mill Creek for Coffee (Steady)

PLEASE SEE THE EARLIER START TIME - 9AM

Let's meet at the Wilmot Gateway Park Pergola in Woodinville. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

If you are not riding to the start, the recommended parking is across the street at the Woodinville Sports Fields and Wilmot Park parking lot.  The parking adjacent to the pergola is for short term parking. 

Our route this week heads north up through the North Creek community into Mill Creek.  We will have a brief rest stop at Willis Tucker Park (mile 13) after which we will ride to Mill Creek Town Center for our 25 minute coffee/snack stop at Starbucks/Town & Country Market (mile 22). An optional rest stop on our return will be at Ballinger Park (mile 32).

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup occasionally. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH). Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own, as the ride becomes self-led for those ahead of or behind the group.

Restrooms and water are available at the start. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
