Eastside ramble (Steady)

Are you wanting to ride but not doing STP? Join me for a Eastside ramble. Let's meet at the Woodinville Sports Fields parking lot. Be there, ready to go at 9am so we can beat the heat. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will ride up some challenging hills at our own pace, regrouping as needed to keep the group together. Ride leader is on an e-bike but will only use assistance as necessary to avoid falling over on the hills. We will roll through some south Lynnwood neighborhoods, tackling a few short steep inclines along the way. Unexpected trails are peppered through the route to keep things interesting. We will keep our pace down on these trails for our safety and the safety of other users. 

Restrooms and water are available at Wilmot Gateway park across the street from the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Heron Park at mile 15.8. Bring a snack to eat during our short break there if desired. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card for just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there is unhealthy air quality, or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
