Registration deadline was 4/6/2025 8:30am
Join us for a ride on the beautiful, paved Centennial Trail, out and back for a total of 36 miles with 720 feet of climbing. Our pace will be 10-12 mph, mostly in Zone 2 exertion, with a wee bit of the higher zones on the hill climbing, about the minimum a rider should strive for if they hope to do a 2-day STP. However, for riders who are already training more intensely, perhaps for a 1- day STP or RAMROD, this could be considered a nice recovery ride.
We meet in the Centennial Trail parking lot just across the street from the library. Please be ready to ride at 10:30 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.
Restrooms/porta-potties are available at various trailheads along the route.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
