... of 30 spots remaining
Join the Best Side Cycling crew for a super scenic, bike photo tour of Seattle. I'll be riding my Brompton and I encourage you to bring your own Brompton/foldable/mini bike as well though you are more than welcome to bring any bike. Photo stops include the likes of: Frankie Feetsplinter (troll at the Ballard Nordic Heritage museum), Golden Gardens, the Space Needle and more. Expect chill social vibes and a place to geek out a bit with others about your own bike!
We'll meet and end the ride at Lake Union Park close to the Westlake Cycle Track. Come ahead of time and be prepared to ride at 1PM where there will be a safety briefing that you must attend to participate in the ride.
We will be regrouping frequently to stay as a group and to avoid losing anyone due to navigation. Refer to the route map to see all the photo stops we'll be making. Ride will be contingent on relatively sunny weather.
Restrooms are not available at the start. We’ll stop for coffee/snacks at Little Coney at mile 6.5 with a restroom stop.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
Note: We will be walking across the Ballard Locks with our bikes which is about 0.3 miles.
