Everett Snohomish Loop

Join us for a 25-mile, steady paced (12-14 mph) ride from Rotary Park in Everett on the Lowell-Snohomish River Road. The first 10 or so miles are mostly rural along the south side of the Snohomish River to Snohomish and then along the north side of the Snohomish River and cross the Route 2 trestle back into Everett. We will then explore the north end of Everett and wind up back at Rotary Park. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and regroup as necessary.

Let's meet at Rotary Park on the Lowell Snohomish River Road. Be there, ready to go at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

A vault toilet but no water is available at the start. Restrooms and water are available at miles 6 in Snohomish and 19 at American Legion Memorial Park in Everett. It is suggested that you bring a snack to consume during our stop at mile 19.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
