Cedar River Trail - Spring Edition

Let's welcome Spring with the Cedar River Trail ride.

Join us for a ride from Riverview Park on a 22 mile out and back route at Leisurely paced (10 -12 MPH)!

This is a Rail to Trail paved path that runs parallel but totally separate from the Maple Valley Highway.  We will cross over the Cedar River a couple of times and have peek a boo views as well.  There are lots of trees and birds to see.  The trail is a nice gentle climb up the first half with a wonderful cruise down on the return.

Let's meet at the Riverview part and please be ready to ride at 10am . We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. 

Restrooms are not available at the start. There are porta pottys at Ron Regis Park at Mile 3. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Village Coffee at Mile 11.  There will be restrooms and water there as well.  After a 20 minute break or so, this will be our turn around point.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
