**CANCELLED** Eastside Ride to Chilly Hilly

For those riding to Chilly Hilly from the Eastside, I'm putting together a group ride from South Kirkland Park & Ride to Colman Dock (11miles) route at vigorous pace (19-20mph on flats).

This would be a cool way to ride to the start and warm up the legs, including a couple of steeper pitches when we pass by Interlaken Park.

We will meet at South Kirkland Park & Ride, right next to the bus stop. In order to catch the 7:55am ferry, we will start promptly at 6:45am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are NOT available at the start. We will not stop along the way for restrooms/water. There are restrooms on the ferry.

Bring a spare tube or two and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. You may want to bring a warm-up jacket to put on while waiting for the ferry.

Please note that this Cascade group ride ends at the Colman Dock. I'm happy to keep riding as a group during Chilly Hilly itself, but that would not be part of this group ride. In addition the ride back from Colman Dock to South Kirkland Park & Ride is also not part of the Cascade group ride. I have added a link to the return route that you can use to navigate on your own.  

Just as Chilly Hilly itself, this is a rain-or-shine ride!
