Seattle is filled with some iconic signs and a few unique wonders. Join us for a 16-mile urban route to explore and capture some of these truly Seattle sights. Let's meet in the Woodland Park lower parking lot (near the soccer fields) at 0945 for our pre-ride brief, then head out at 1000 with our cameras to see at least 16 unique signs and landmarks that make up the Seattle city-scape. We'll check out the big Wallingford sign, the original Dick's Drive inn and Top Pot donuts, the Capitol Hill Rite Aid Marquee, the Wonder Bread sign on an apartment, Bread of Life Mission sign, the Chinatown gate, the Seattle PI globe and Amazon Spheres, cruise past the base of the Space Needle, the pink Elephant Car Wash sign, and a couple of unique Fremont characters, including the Troll. We'll take breaks where it's safe to photograph all the sights. Restrooms available at the start. There's one long hill, up to Capitol Hill from the University bridge.
