We'll start at Green Lake and follow the Interurban route north. This is a long gradual climb with easy grades. Then we'll head east through Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. There's a bit of climbing here including a couple of short steep pitches in Hamlin Park. We'll regroup frequently and keep the group together. We'll return via the Burke Gilman trail and Ravenna Park. There a short unpaved section in Ravenna Park. It's hard packed dirt. You can ride it on narrow tires, but use caution.
This is a short ride with no rest stop. We'll gather at a nearby pub after the ride for those interested. Restrooms are available at the start, and there are a few options along the way if needed.
If the ride is canceled due to weather, it will be posted here in comments by 9:00 am on the day of the ride, and the ride leader will not be at the start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
