Seattle Pastry Ride:WSea to Original Bakery

It's fall, so that means it's time to ride for pastries. Join us on the Veterans Day holiday as we head out from Lincoln Park in West Seattle. We'll skim along the waterfront, then climb up to the ridge of West Seattle. From there, we head south to tackle the rollers of Three Tree before climbing back to West Seattle and a stop at the end of the ride at Original Bakery in Fauntleroy. Bring water bottles and money for food purchases. 

Expectations:

• Pace: This is a social ride. We will ride ~17 mph on the flats, 15 mph on trails, and at your own pace up the hills.
• Start: Please be ready to ride at least 10 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing.
• Location: Please park in the north lot of Lincoln Park. For commuters, there are bus stops in both directions across from the park. 
• Rest Stops: The only planned rest stop is at the bakery. There are restrooms at the start and at mp 30 at the bakery. There is also a port-a-pot at Mile 13.
• Mechanicals: Riders should come prepared to handle their own flats and/or mechanicals (group will not wait). Bring a charged cellphone if possible.
• Cue sheets: Not provided, so please print your own copy if desired or download the route.
• Registration: Online registration is appreciated (but not required). Use the REGISTER button at the top of this page. Online registration requires creating a (free) account. 
• Cancellation: Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 08:30 am in the comment section below. In that case, the ride leaders will not be at the start.
