Ride SLOW with Senior Ladies on Wheels for an introduction to the African-American movers and shakers behind the Central District parks that carry their names: Edwin Pratt, Blanche LaVizzo, Prentis Frazier, Flo Ware and other well-known and lesser-known luminaries. All riders of all ages and identies welcome, as long as you ride SLOW! We'll follow traffic-free trails and low-traffic neighborhood streets, and we avoid the steepest hills - but there's no shame in getting off and walking a block or two. We'll break for lunch along the way. The slowest rider sets the pace - don't worry, we won't hurry! Rain won't cancel, but may lead to a shorter ride.
