Join me for a celebration of my many years of cycling. Please come on your vintage bike,if you have one, as leader will be on her vintage 1984 Schwinn Paramount. If you don't have an older bike, join us anyway. Ride will take us through the UW Arboreturn, along Lake Washington prior to heading west on I-90 trail to downtown Seattle. Photo stop at Westlake Center, if possible. Return will be via downtown Seattle, the Ellliot Bay Trail, and the Burke-Gilman trail with a diversion through the U of Washington campus. Lunch/coffee in a Belltown cafe/bakery on the return route.
Please come at least 15 minutes early to get yourself and bike ready to ride. Wish to do SMART talk at 9:55 am and start ride at 10 am.
Snow, ice and showers will cancel this ride. Leader will post cancellation on this page in comment section at 8 am the day of ride. Leader will not be at start if ride is cancelled.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
