Please join us for a low-key evening ride! Whether you are just getting back on your bike for the summer, are looking for a mid-week "recovery ride," or just want to get in a few more miles during the week, this could be the ride for you!
Beginning riders are extremely welcome! However, you should be prepared to maintain a Steady pace: 12-14 mph on level ground, and you should be prepared to ride about 20 miles on gently hilly terrain. If you get separated from the group, you may need to find your way back alone, so you should know how to read a cue sheet, or have the route loaded on a bike computer or mobile phone.
Rest stops: We'll regroup at the top of hills, but the ride is short, so we won't have rest stops, including places to fill water bottles, so make sure you bring enough water. There is a restroom at the start, but there is no place to fill water bottles (it’s a portable restroom), so please do that before coming to the start.
Mentoring Opportunities: It is possible to mentor prospective Cascade Ride Leaders on this ride. For information, please send email to Shaun Ivory.
